250 gm Big parwal

1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder

1 Potato- mashed, boiled

1/4 cup grated Coconut

1 tbsp chopped Cashew nut

1/2 tbsp roasted Cumin powder

1 and 1/2 tbsp Red chilly powder

1/2 tsp Amchoor

1 1/2 tbsp Curd

1/2 tsp Cumin paste

1/2 tsp Coriander powder

1/2 tsp Garam masala

1/4 tsp Asafoetida powder

Salt to taste

Sugar to taste

Methods

Step1 Scrape the parwal and scoop out the pulp.

Step2 Marinate the parwal with salt and turmeric for 3 minutes.

Step3 Heat 1/2 tbsp oil and fry the coconut lightly.

Step4 Mix the fried coconut with mashed potato, cashew nut, amchur, cumin powder, chilly powder, salt and sugar.

Step5 Stuff the mixed ingredients in parwal and seal with the gram flour dough and tie with a thread.

Step6 Heat the oil and fry the parwal in slow flame until turns to golden brown and keep aside.

Step7 Mix all the ingredients to a smooth paste and keep aside.

Step8 Heat the oil, add the mixed gravy paste and saute over slow fire.

Step9 Add 1/4 cup of water and let the gravy boil.

Step10 Add the fried stuffed parwal and mix well with gravy.

Step11 Serve hot with rice.
